Get to know how Man and Machine has brought JP Nelson to its leading position of this industry.
Congratulations to JP nelson for winning the Singapore Prestige Brand Award V Maybank Regional Brand 2015
JP Nelson is proud to celebrate Singapore Golden Jubilee and we would like to say thank you to each and every one for making this possible. With your support through the years, JP Nelson is able to go from strength to strength and to achieve one of the market leaders in Singapore.
The very 1st ICE-PVE 81NF Vibro was introduced into Singapore as a product of our company JP Nelson. This Vibro Model 81NF is the first of its kind in Singapore, and is stronger and faster than the previous models. One advantage of the 81NF Vibro Hammer is equipped with a Gearbox Cooling system, thus prolonging the lifespan of the mechanical components and in turn reducing maintenance costs. The 81NF Vibro Hammer also has forced lubrication that provides a lubricant film around the components, reducing friction and wear. With an eccentric moment of 81kgm and a maximum centrifugal force of 2,570kN, the 81NF is able to fill up the gap between our 52M and 110M.
Due to the increase in demand for construction equipment, especially Vibratory Hammers, rental at JP Nelson has been increasing. In the year 2011, there will be total of 22~28 billion dollars-worth of construction projects. Of which, Downtown Line 3 will be kick starting the year with a big civil project that will utilize a lot Vibratory Hammers for their foundation jobs. Besides this, there are also an estimated number of 500 new HDB projects coming up that will also require Vibratory Hammers for its foundation jobs before the building can be erected.
The PVE 55NF vibratory hammer was developed by ICE-PVE. The hammer was made to be specially designed together with Power Unit Model 670. The power unit has a Caterpillar engine with 550 HP, and it provides an oil flow of 670ltr/min to the vibratory hammer. Also with an additional gearbox cooling system, the lifespan of critical mechanical components in and out of the vibratory hammer is increased and thus lengthen.
The very first Maeda Telescopic Crawler Crane was sold to a reputable Engineering and Construction company early this year.
JP Nelson Equipment has an extensive fleet of new rental equipments to cater to the many needs and requirement from our customer. We are pleased to announce a new series of vibratory hammer which incorporated design of both ICE and PVE. It is based on the principle of achieving high amplitude with a light weight construction thus, generating a very high eccentric moment. The high eccentric moment is useful for extraction of sheet piles and casing.
The company has purchased brand new 1100 KVA generator to tap into the shipyard/construction market.
JP Nelson Equipment has sold the 2nd unit of the world biggest vibratory hammer, 300M to Yongnam Engineering and Construction Ltd. The unit will arrive on April. This deal has further proven JP Nelsons reputation to supply customized vibratory hammer to support specialized construction project. The 300M vibratory hammers are crucial in the final phases of the MCE project.
JP Nelson successfully commissioned 2MW generator onboard a vessel for Sapura Group.
Capable to drive up to 80m depth, HR360 is perfect for deep boring operation and all terrain operation. It has an improve Kelly bar design which makes it very suitable for extreme rocky environment and is highly suitable for usage in areas where conventional boring machine cannot be employed effectively due to presence of hard rocks. It is equivalent to BG 36 but it is more competitively priced hence, a faster return of investment.
Yongnam has confirmed another unit of 52M vibratory hammer for usage in C921 project. It is being used to drive sheet pile of various lengths. The model 52M is specially selected for its stability as its amplitude is lower than competitor and yet is able to achieve a high centrifugal force this will enable the operator to operate it with relative ease and also result in lower wear and tear. PVE range of vibratory hammer is the top choice for all Yongnam project.
Yongnam has been purchasing cranes of various other mades and models but recently has decided to give QUY 80H a try after testing it in our yard. Yongnams Engineer was amazed at the similarity of the control with Japanese made model. The swing and the lifts are very smooth and it is able to perform multiple functions with relative ease. Yongnam is also pleased with its competitive price ensuring a fast return of investment.
JP Nelson has just delivered a 55 tons Crawler Telescopic Crane to Daiya Engineering Construction Pte Ltd. The first of its class, this crane was specially selected due to its excellent engineering capabilities.
JP Nelson Access Equipment, JPNAE headed by Mr. Bryan Chew is set up to cater to the Mobile Elevated Working Platform, MEWP market.
JDC is currently using our MC405C in the construction of Gem shopping centre at Jurong East. The mini crane is position on a level still under construction to lift up material from a lower level accessible by passenger hoist. The usage of this mini crane to construct each level has freed the tower crane for other lifts around the site and has sped up construction activities.
Construction in Singapore is increasingly difficult with more and more adjacent buildings, underground pipes and tunnels. Subterranean construction is no longer a point and drive affair. Engineer has to consider ground movement caused by the driving of concrete or sheet piles.
